The Drift mobile explores the relationship between the linear composition and scaling circles that results in a shapeshifting kinetic mobile. The technical detail of half circles carefully soldered to each bar accentuates the physical balance and sculptural nature, while the polished brass adds a sense of brightness.

Handcrafted at the Circle & Line studio in Austin, Texas.

Dimensions: Hangs 40" from the ceiling including a 10" top chain. Body of the mobile is 30" H x 32" W.

Materials: Made entirely of brass components, each piece is meticulously sanded, buffed, and polished and then finished with a durable lacquer to preserve the warm glow of the brass. The brass has a “living finish” and the patina will change over time.

Installation + Care: Hang from an anchored hook in the ceiling. Gloves are included, and should be worn in the installation process to prevent finger marks on the brass finish Intended for indoor use. Exposure to the elements will cause the natural patina process to accelerate. Wipe with a dry cloth.
